Perhaps you’ve been using Bettr for a while now but haven’t really seen the results you expected. Maybe you’ve run out of your Bettr products before the month is up. All of these could be simply because you might not really know how to apply Let’s get back to the basics, to make sure you’re getting the most out of your skincare routine.
Though your Bettr You Set comes with a handy ‘How to’ instructions, in case you need a bit more assistance, here’s a detailed routine to give your skin and your skills a good refresh.
Clean Bettr
First things first, always wash your hands! Clean hands mean you’ll be able to prevent any transfer of bacteria. On your now wet and clean hands, squeeze a blueberry-sized blob (which is all you really need) of Clean Bettr and lather the cleanser in your palms. Massage the cleanser in circular motions onto your face to remove the dirt and grime from your pores.
Restore Bettr
Unlike when you apply moisturizer, instead of massaging the serum into your skin - apply it in small tapping motions with your fingertips.Do not rub your skin excessively, let the serum absorb into your skin on its own. Dab the serum all over your face (or just in your trouble areas) using small and gentle tapping motions. Wait for a bit for the serum to completely penetrate your skin before continuing with your skincare routine.
Moisturize Bettr
Most people tend to rub their moisturizer in the palms of their hands before applying, meaning that most of your precious product gets absorbed by your hands. Instead, squeezing a little to the back of your hand, then take your ring finger and dab it all over your face before gently massaging it in. more importantly, don’t forget to moisturize your neck!
If you have dry skin, applying double the recommended amount won’t give you double the benefits. Instead, that just results in wasted products, and an oily T-zone. On the other hand, if you’ve got oily skin don’t ever skip on moisturizer - that’s a myth.
